On this day, the children become little chefs and cook delicious dishes together with our chef. Cooking fun guaranteed! Our chef will be happy to answer all questions about the craft of cooking, tips in the kitchen and food.
The aim of the project is to inspire children to eat a healthy and balanced diet and to provide them with knowledge on the topics of sustainability and nutrition, as well as to show how these two topics are connected.
A highlight for the children is eating the dishes they have cooked together at the table they have set themselves. Table culture and eating together are also important topics that we want to pass on to the children.
Our van with mobile kitchen on board travels throughout Germany and cooks with the children on site in the schools. We bring the food as well as the equipment and working materials.
The project hat already won a Gold Award.
Children playfully learn which foods contain how much sugar. In this way, we create awareness for the sugar traps of everyday life. In our cooking classes, all children become sugar detectives.
At the end of the cooking workshop, the children receive our cookbook with plant-based recipe ideas as well as tips and knowledge about food and nutrition. With the cookbook, the children can proudly take their newly acquired knowledge back to their families and recreate the recipes together with their parents at home.
