More institutions in Lower Saxony opt for delicious variety

Freshly cooked directly on site or delivered within a short distance - this will be possible for pupils in Bramsche and the surrounding area from August. The caterer VielfaltMenü, which is represented throughout Germany with over 30 regional kitchens, will soon be expanding its sphere of activity with the kitchen of the integrated comprehensive school in Bramsche in the district of Osnabrück in Lower Saxony. With varied menus, organic ingredients and a DGE-certified menu line, the breakfast and lunch meals for the approximately 1,350 children and young people at the local comprehensive school and Greselius-Gymnasium are not only fresh, but also healthy and delicious.

"At VielfaltMenü, the overall concept convinced with a diverse menu selection, a vitamin bar offering fresh fruits and salads, and a modern grab-and-go snack offering. This is particularly popular among teenagers. The caterer has already impressed students in other cities with this approach. The references speak for themselves. Noteworthy is also the focus on regional sourcing, including collaboration with local suppliers and the use of local cuisine, along with on-site personal support. We are very pleased that we can offer attractive catering to the children," says Andreas Merse, Education Service Manager at the Osnabrück District.

In the future, dishes made with regional products will be freshly prepared daily in local kitchens and then delivered to nearby childcare centers and schools. VielfaltMenü already serves around 1,200 facilities in Germany and continues to expand. From the school kitchen in Bramsche and other surrounding kitchen locations, such as Hannover, the caterer can supply even more facilities in the region with delicious variety.

"A healthy and balanced diet is very important to us. At the same time, we ensure that it tastes good to the children and teenagers. To achieve this, we are constantly in communication with parents and children, for example, through participation in parent meetings, roundtable discussions, and our digital feedback system," says Chris Winkelseßer, Regional Manager for Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.

The supply by VielfaltMenü from the kitchen in Bramsche will start in mid-August. Children can look forward to a colorful selection, including dishes such as chickpea curry, cod fillet cubes in dill béchamel sauce, and beetroot pancakes. This promises a good start after the summer break."
